Blowball is a nostalgic watch, to remind you of your childhood.
The individual seeds on the watch face break away and come together at different points in the day.
Every time the watch reaches 12 o'clock the picture joins up to make a full dandelion head.
Two flies mixed in with the seeds point to the hours and the minutes.
Blowball was designed by Fanny Shorter and made by us in London. Every colour you can see in the design was mixed and printed before the discs were cut and assembled one at a time.
Fanny Shorter is a designer and illustrator, her work is inspired by nature is usually on a large scale for interiors and products. So it was an interesting challenge to scale down her work to the small size of a watch face.

Fanny Shorter is a designer and printmaker. She grew up in the quintessentially English county town of Winchester, surrounded by historic architecture and idyllic countryside. Her upbringing formed an enduring influence on her designs and how her work is manufactured.
Fanny originally trained as an illustrator at Brighton University. In 2011 she established her eponymous range of textiles, prints and accessories from her studio at Cockpit Arts in London.
We're big fans of Fanny's work and she's designed several watches for us in the past, including Vingt Mille, Tour Du Monde and The Promise of Happiness.
