A dream from which an entire world unfolds.

Designed by artist Eleanor Ross, Starcatcher is inspired by the ancient three hares motif, a symbol linked to eternity, interconnectedness and the endless turning of life’s cycles.

Across the dial, three hares wander through a celestial woodland, catching golden stars, gilded with 22 carat gold leaf.

How to read the time:

  •  The tip of the star on the shorter hand shows the hour.
  • The star on the long hand marks the minutes.

There is a subtle twinkling star at the centre of the design to indicate the seconds.

Turn the watch over and you’ll find a sleeping hare resting atop a Swiss automatic mechanical movement. The hidden dreamer behind it all.

This piece was created as a place to escape to. A watch that feels less like an object for measuring time, and more like stepping into another world, just for a moment.

Eleanor explains her inspiration behind the design:

“I want the watch to feel like an escape for those who wear it. An opportunity to enter a dreamlike land, away from the stress of every day life.
“The old fables and folklore I grew up with have always stayed with me. I wanted to create a watch that ignites the child-like wonder inside of the wearer, the one that never really disappears.”

Eleanor Ross graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2022 with a degree in Product Design, now a multidisciplinary artist working across oil painting and digital art.
Her work often depicts sleeping or resting figures within dream-like scenes, creating quiet moments of rest and a temporary escape from the world around us. These figures often mirror the emotional state she is in whilst painting, becoming both a form of reflection and release.
Inspired by the feelings she experiences from storybooks and dreams, her work explores imagined worlds, sleeping figures and moments of stillness, she hopes viewers experience the same sense of comfort and rest she has found in the act of creating her unique pieces of art.

Made in London

The individual colours in the design were mixed and printed one by one. The precious metal foils were then applied by hand, cleaned and backed with a varnish for protection.

The gilding process makes each watch slightly different. This means that you’ll always get a completely unique, handmade watch.

Each watch was then hand assembled before going through our strict quality control process.
