A perfectly useless afternoon t-shirt
This vibrant unisex t-shirt was designed by Kristof Devos and is inspired by his watch design, which you can see here.
Kristof explains his inspiration for the design:
"Ironically, it took time to change the way I look at time. A couple of years ago, I read a quote by a Chinese writer, translator, linguist and philosopher Lin Yutang that I’ve kept close to my heart ever since:
'If you can spend a perfectly useless afternoon in a perfectly useless manner, you have learnt how to live'.
So when designing the watch, I took that quote as a starting point.
The quote by Lin Yutang taught me the value of doing nothing at all every once in a while.
One of the ways I love wasting time is by floating around, with my eyes closed, letting the water be my guide."

Kristof Devos is a Belgian Illustrator and Author.
The core of his work is as a picture-book illustrator.
He creates books for children of all ages on themes
such as friendship, death and standing up for yourself.
His work has been described as both quirky and
modest. Once in a while he puts down his pencil and
takes to the stage, giving public talks on diverse themes
such as inspiration and imagination.
Kristof’s work has been translated into a number of
different languages and his books are available in a
number of countries around the world. His illustrations
have been shown both domestically and in several
international exhibitions.
His work has received multiple rewards, including a
“White Raven”, a “3x3 Mag Merit” and an “Award of
Excellence” by the prestigious Commarts Competition.

Shipping guide for t-shirts:
All t-shirts on our website are now printed and shipped by an external supplier inside The EU. This means that if you place an order for both a watch and a t-shirt, they will be shipped separately.
Our supplier uses a tracked service for all shipments and this usually takes a little longer than our watches. You can see an estimated timescale when you input your address at the checkout.
These delivery times are a guide based on the DHL and Royal Mail terms of service, products may, in some unusual cases take longer to arrive. If this happens, please get in touch.
