Enjoy the ride (LTD)
Sorry, it has now sold out! You can sign up to the waiting list here.
This colourful limited edition watch was designed by Kristof Devos (the designer of A perfectly useless afternoon and A perfectly useless morning).
The ferris wheel spins as time passes, acting as a reminder to live in the moment.
The two vibrant hands in the centre of the design display the time in the conventional way.
Enjoy the ride is powered by a Swiss-made automatic mechanical movement. This means the motion of wearing your watch provides the power to wind it up and keep your ferris wheel moving.
Kristof explains his inspiration for the design:
"This watch captures the most valuable lesson I’ve learned in my time here on earth: try to enjoy every single minute of your life, because it is not endless.
When I was thinking about this idea as a concept for a timepiece, I immediately thought of a ferris wheel.
It just felt right: as the wheel turns, time passes by.
This watch wants to be a kind reminder to put your worries aside, you are here and now, so you might as well enjoy the ride."
Enjoy the ride was made by us here in London, each layer of the design was printed individually, before being hand-assembled by our talented small team.
This watch is limited to just 100 pieces worldwide, available exclusively from Mr Jones Watches.
Purchases are strictly limited to one per person/address for this limited edition watch. We don’t think it’s fair for people to buy to resell them at a higher price, so please don’t do this or we will be forced to block your orders.
